About the AAP. February 2013. American Academy of Pediatrics. Web. 16 Sept. 2014.

This website discusses the many resources, and articles you could you as pediatric reference. It gives resources to many professional doctors that have been in the career field for many years as well, as renown pediatric hospitals and offices in the US and your local area. Provides new just found informations from the most reliable sources, and keeps you up to date on brand new technologies and innovations.

I found this source to be one of the most reliable and informing website out of the many i looked at, as well as having an official federal and state funds and information backing it. I found this resource to be very helpful in finding information on things to be aware about in this career field as well as new disease that are constantly evolving.

1.  Admission, Medical Schools. August 25th, 2013, from Admissions, Medical Schools: http://www.doctorshadow.com/the-real-medical-school-acceptance-rate/

2.  In this time we are faced with the big decision of choosing what we want to do for the rest of our life, so many of us turn towards the growing medical field. Some people decide they want to people nurses but for some that not enough some want to be doctors and i'm here to tell you that it isn't as hard to get into medical school a some people think. Many websites will tell you there is an average acceptance rate of 3.1% but in reality “according to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the average applicant submits applications to approximately 14 different schools”. After you take away the repeated applications and the multiple applications sent to many different medical schools the acceptance rate of a college goes up to about 43.1%

 3.  “according to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the average applicant submits applications to approximately 14 different schools.”

“In 2012, there were approximately 636,309 applications submitted to the 141 medical schools recognized by the AAMC.’’

“Of the 45,266 applicants to medical school, 19,517 became medical school students. This means that approximately 43.11 percent of medical school applicants became medical school students.”

4.  Even though the website does have .com on the end of it it has many reliable link leading to qualified organizations and accurate information from the year 2012, which can better put into view what it might be for 2014-2015. This site has a very qualified link with it that leads you to the Association of American Medical Colleges.

5. This article was incredibly helpful to my research, because now I know what percentage of students get into medical school. this website can be used so much in my project because of all the statistics that it offers.

Desia, A.B. Textbook Of Pediatrics. Orient blackswan. p. 1.

Much of this article talks about pediatrics in the turn of the industrial age. It mentions a lot of people that start off as common doctors, then change to taking care of many kids. These doctors were at the forefront of the time for diseases that started in children, and affected them severely. Much of this articleplays a role in how we go about Pediatrics in the modern world today.
